The Common Entrance Test (CET) is a state-level examination conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and other professional programs. Different states in India organize their own CETs, such as MHT-CET in Maharashtra and KCET in Karnataka, to allocate seats in government and private colleges.

CET evaluates students’ understanding of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology, depending on the chosen course. The exam pattern generally includes multiple-choice questions based on the 11th and 12th-grade syllabus.

Qualifying CET allows students to pursue higher education in their preferred professional fields within their respective states, ensuring fair and transparent admissions based on merit.
